Dairy production is winding down here — we expect to be finished in the next two weeks. The ewes get a little break before breeding in October.
We’ll trade in cheesecloths for carding and dyeing with plenty of wool production scheduled for cooler months, as well as some art endeavors for Sophie — keep an eye out for the results of her mural work in West Virginia later this season. We’ll keep you posted about some opportunities to purchase yarn and art for the holiday season.
Thank ewe for another successful year of sheep dairy — we’re honored to continue to have more demand than product. We look forward to sharing more cheese, yogurt, and ice cream with you in April 2023 if all goes as planned!
