Late Summer

Milking season is winding down! The ewes are in charge of how this process goes exactly, but we expect that dairy production for 2021 will be all wrapped up by mid-September. We’ll still be at Bethel Farmers’ Market each Saturday with some dairy. A limited selection of dairy can still be found at Fare Share Co-op in Norway. The farm store is now open only on Tuesdays 2-6 for FarmDrop order pick-up. You can find our dairy on FarmDrop, along with items from other surrounding farms. If you need dairy at other times, feel free to reach out and I’ll see what I can do.

The ewes get a little break before breeding this fall — they deserve it! Then they spend the winter growing lambs and lovely fleeces. We’ll spend the fall and winter processing wool — washing, carding, spinning, dyeing, and knitting.
